Enduring on Lockdown

Life as we knew it has drastically shifted. The world beyond our doors is a ghost of its former self. We are now trapped within the limits of our homes, forced to conform to a new normal. The days run together, marked by the pattern of online meetings, consuming media, and baking. We crave for the simple activities that were once assumed for granted: a walk in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a conversation without a screen between us.

This new world has brought challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected capacities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more patient, more inventive, and more grateful for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this uncharted territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are coming.

Freedom's Six-Foot Line

Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just six feet.

Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels suffocating. You long freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a constant echo that you're imprisoned.

But even in the darkest moments, there's a flicker of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a dream worth holding onto.

Confined Liberation

The allure for freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to imprisonment. This happens when the very notion of freedom becomes twisted, transforming into a mechanism for control and domination.

Genuine freedom entails not only the absence for external constraints but also the cultivation of internal resilience. When this home arrest inner base is lacking, even amidst a society that preaches freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the boundaries of their own thoughts.

Ultimately, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to liberate ourselves the obstacles that impede our potential, both externally and internally.
